Step 1. Email pictures of your office: desk, desk drawers, filing cabinets, files, bookshelves. Or, email pictures of one room in your home: kitchen, bedroom, laundry room or home office. There are no restrictions.
Step 2. Make a one-hour phone appointment using FaceTime if applicable. We discuss your goals and how you are currently using the room. We work together to develop a precise method for organizing each area of the room.
This initial appointment is designed to give you an assessment with specific milestones needed to start the organizing process.
Step 3. It usually takes about an hour to create a step-by-step process for each area in a room. For example, it takes about an hour to develop a solution for your desk and file drawers and a second hour to develop a solution for the rest of your office. Similarly, it takes about an hour to develop a solution for organizing a few areas of your kitchen or bedroom.
This personalized assistance is designed to help you break down a bigger goal into small, doable steps that will take you 1-2 hours to complete. By the yard, it’s hard, but by the inch, it’s a cinch!
Step 4. You accomplish each step and send me the after-pictures. After we review your results together, any final improvements will be suggested.
Step 5. The number of sessions needed to organize an office workspace or a room in a home is directly affected by 1) the size of the workspace or room and 2) the goals you have for organizing each area in the room.
