You Just Need to Add an Apostrophe to Impossible!

Impossible!

That is what we hear whenever we have a dream and we and/or some people respond with, “Impossible!”. Like going to the moon, or owning our first home, or getting pregnant after three attempts have failed, or starting a business with having no training in business.

That was my experience in 1982. After 5 nudges or winks from on high, I got this crazy idea to start an organizing business. Problem was, I knew nothing about organizing, or speaking, or running a business, or profit and loss statements, or balancing my checkbook, or marketing, or writing, or creating brochures, or…well you get the picture.

NOTHING!

IMPOSSIBLE! Or, so I thought.

But, then God… Oh how I love those words… But then God spoke, gave me those five personal nudges and told me to add an apostrophe to the word “impossible” and make it “I’m possible”, and all would be well.

Now, that “I’m” not only means me, but it also means Him. With Him and through Him, my business was possible because He showed me that through faith and perseverance, I could start this business.

So, I jumped in feet first and never looked back. Starting with simply helping friends organize their homes and taking before and after pictures, I gave my first seminar to 15 women in a basement of a home, and off I went, turning every problem from “impossible” to “I’m possible”, and the rest is history or His Story.

Yes, His Story. As the song, My Story by Big Daddy Weave goes:

If I told you my story
You would hear Hope that wouldn’t let go
And if I told you my story
You would hear Love that never gave up
And if I told you my story
You would hear Life, but it wasn’t mine…
Oh, to tell you my story is to tell of Him.

My “Impossible” became “I’m possible” because of Him telling me to just add an apostrophe.

What is your apostrophe?

My apostrophe became a life-long fulfilling career and ministry; organizing homes and offices in 46 states and Europe. Whatever your apostrophe is, add it to impossible and off you will go, mixing your story with His, testifying of His love and affection through your life.
