I’ve got to give kudos to Brenda for a great repurposing idea that your friendly-office-and-home-organizer Sue has never considered, how about that!
Thanks, Brenda!

Hi Sue,
Armed with the inspiration I received while attending your seminar several months ago, I re-organized my entire kitchen, starting with removing duplicates and unnecessary items from my cabinets and pantry and placing them on shelves in my basement.
To help with organizing my skillets and baking dishes, I was able to repurpose several office organizers that were stored in my basement. One of your maxims is that you should not go through work to get to work — so, I applied that principle to my kitchen.
First, I took a metal 3-tiered paper tray and converted it to an organizer for my baking dishes. Now, I don’t have to lift my 8×8 baking dish out of my 9×13 baking dish because each dish has its own slot.
Likewise, I used a vertical file organizer with 2” wide slots to hold my skillets and another vertical organizer to separate my platters and serving plates. It’s a breeze to pull out the just one skillet and not dig through the stack of heavy pans to find the one I want.
Besides the ease of selecting my skillets, I’m no longer embarrassed when a friend searches through my cabinets – everything is organized and tidy.
Thanks, Sue!
